Brief Description

N.B This is a change from the advertised walk. Owing to family and other commitments, Des and I have been unable to recce the planned walk. This will be at a later date. The walk I have arranged is an old favourite that some of you have already been on. The walk begins with a walk along the canal, then leaves to ascend fairly steeply through woodland before descending to a ruined mill. The path then ascends again through fields, descending to Colden Water with the stone bridge. We continue to Hell Hole Rocks, and the delightful village of Heptonstall, before the steep descent along the Struggle into Hebden Bridge. Mainly good paths, some steep, with great views.
