Brief Description

From the car park drop down to Monsal Dale and follow the River Wye to reach the A6. Cross A6 (toilets) and make the only real climb on the walk, (stony in parts) to reach Great Shacklow Wood. Follow the wooded path to Ashford in the Water (toilets) where we'll stop for lunch. Field paths then to cross the Monsal Trail and reach Little Longstone. From there take the minor road back to the car park
