The walk goes west along reservoir edge and crosses Turton Moor to join Witton Weavers Way turning south past Catherine Edge and Longworth Moor to cross A666 at Dimple and onto Turton Heights turning south to the trig (329m) at Cheetham Close. returning east and then north to the start

 Brief Description

Alderley Edge, with a bonnet of trees and abundance of footpaths, is the starting point. Beside the Edge with its Extensive vistas, the area boasts historical mining remains stretching back to the Bronze Age, ancient legends, attractive countryside and the lovely gardens of Hare Hill, (National Trust) fine houses at Nether Alderley. All of these combine to create an outstanding walk.
