Brief Description

From Little Mill Inn we shall take the road past Laneside Farm, then onto a stony track for approx 1 mile to a road which we will follow to climb gradually to the Pennine Bridle Way below Lantern Pike. We shall climb over the Pike and descend to Blackshaw Farm. We shall then cross Mately Moor to reach Rock Farm where we cut up to Coombe Edge Plateau. Our route continues along the Edge with good views (weather permitting) to join the Cown Edge Way and continue descending across fields into Rowath, returning to the Inn car park. The walk is on well defined paths. bridles ways and two short stretches of quiet lanes. with one moderate climb.
